Editorial

Great kid activity for all ages, The Randall Museum houses changing science, art, and interactive exhibits. Permanent areas of the Museum include a live animal exhibit, a woodshop, art and ceramics studios, a lapidary workshop, a 188-seat theater, a greenhouse, and gardens. Kids will love the Museum's scale model of a caboose. Children can climb on it and pretend to be riding the rails. Great place for children to learn about their natural environment and wildlife. Children can play in a scaled down Victorian home in the lobby, where they can put on puppet shows, read about our wild friends in over-sized colorful books, then follow foot prints on the lobby floor to places where urban animals like to hide. The exhibit aims to teach visitors how to live side by side with wildlife so people and animals can both thrive within San Francisco ’s city limits. Best of all admission is free for all ages.
