Seattle’s Experience Music Project is a great place to take kids who are interested in music. Interactive exhibits teach kids about music history and even allow them to experiment with a variety of instruments in the Sound Lab. As funding for musical education programs in public schools continue to diminish, museums like the EMP are becoming vital for children’s education. Explore the museum on your own, or purchase an audio-guided tour. This museum is fun for people of all ages, and attracts people from all cultures and musical tastes. Become a “rock star” at the EMP’s On Stage exhibit, where you’ll enter a stage simulation complete with hot lights, screaming fans and smoke machines. My Best friend recommended this place to me, and honestly I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. The sight is near the Space Needle and Chihuly Museum in downtown Seattle. The museum has many different Exhibits like guitar gallery, sound lab, sound proof rooms, instruments testing room with guitars and keyboards. You only have 10 minute in each testing room which makes it feel rushed. If you are a music lover especially a rock music fan, you will defiantly enjoy this museum. The price is reasonable adults, seniors and Students all pay $22 and Youth only $16.
